Capturing Joy Across My Friends’ Faces I have found that I have become a frequenter of house parties recently. Being surrounded by your friends, in a warm house, safe from the gails and winds outside. I love to take photos of my friends and examine their reactions when I take one that they particularly like. Downloading my photographs onto my laptop the morning after, and sending them to my dear friends, has become one of my greatest sources of joy!

Autumn Birthdays October is a very busy month for my family and friend group, with so many birthdays happening at the same time. So as I was going to a new birthday party every other day, I noticed the sheer joy in people’s faces when they were sang happy birthday to. It may be one of the most embarrassing moments, but also the loveliest. Everyone you love gathered around you, singing to you, and I could see the joy in the room. This is why I’ve chosen to do my joy collection on these images.
